This is because Calibration Certificates issued by MTS are NIST/ISO traceable. These certificates follow strict, standardized protocols designed for instrument calibration and quality assurance, helping eliminate measurement errors. NIST traceability ensures that calibrations are directly linked through a documented, unbroken chain back to the original manufacturer’s standards — the foundation of reliable and verifiable measurements.
Such traceability is only possible when calibration is performed by a Leica Authorized Service Center using Leica-certified service hardware and software.
Furthermore, this certification must be carried out by a Leica Certified Service Technician, utilizing Leica’s proprietary service tools. MTS is the only Leica Authorized Service Center offering this level of certified service in New England, New York, or New Jersey.
