 Leica Introduces the New 6th Generation Disto's Disto A5 and A3 Michael Gage Yarmouth, January 2, 2006 The new sixth-generation DISTO instruments represent an important advance in the state-of-the art for the handheld laser distance measuring devices. Available in two different models - A5 for advanced professional applications and the A3 for basic distance measuring. The DISTO A5 is the most versatile and powerful handheld laser meter on the the market today. The ergonomic unit, with its unique soft-grip, features an integrated telescopic optical viewfinder with crosshairs for aiming and a flip-out ine piece for reliable measurements from edges of areas and corners. The A5 provides averace accuracy of +/- .08" at distances ranging from .16" to 650 feet. The smaller, slender DISTO A3 provides a basic measurnig tool that can easily be carried in a shirt or pants pocket.
